1. Overview

DartMaster is a mobile darts scoring application. This policy describes what data we collect and how we use it.

2. Data we collect

DartMaster collects the following categories of data:

• Anonymous usage events (app opens, games started, game modes used)
• Technical error reports (crashes, exceptions)
• Purchase and subscription data (Premium subscription management via RevenueCat)
• Device advertising identifier — on Android, the Google Advertising ID (AAID); on iOS, the IDFA, only if you consent through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. This identifier is used by Google AdMob to serve in-app advertising (free users only) and may be shared with Google for advertising purposes. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, its use for personalised advertising depends on the choice you make in the consent banner shown at first launch.

You can reset or delete this identifier at any time from your device settings (Android: Settings › Google › Ads; iOS: Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking).

No directly identifying data is collected: no name, no email address, no user account, no location. Only the advertising identifier — device-specific and resettable — constitutes personal data under the GDPR.

3. Data stored locally

All games, scores and statistics are stored on your device only. This data is never transmitted to our servers.

4. Third-party providers

We use the following services:

• PostHog (analytics, EU region) — collects fully anonymous usage events, with no persistent user profile. PostHog policy

5. Data sharing

We do not sell or rent your data. The only sharing that takes place is the one described in section 4: the advertising identifier and ad interaction data are transmitted to Google AdMob in order to serve ads to free users. No other transfer for commercial purposes occurs.

6. Security

All data is transmitted to our providers over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Usage events and error reports contain no directly identifying data.

7. Your rights (GDPR)

Your device advertising identifier is personal data under the GDPR. You therefore have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability.

• Advertising: in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, you can change or withdraw your consent at any time via Settings › Ad consent in the app. Everywhere, you can reset or delete the advertising identifier from your device settings.
• Exercising your rights: write to the address below describing your request. You will receive a reply within 30 days. As no user account exists, you may be asked to provide your advertising identifier so the relevant data can be located.
• Complaints: you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (cnil.fr) or with the supervisory authority of your own country.

Games, scores and statistics remain stored locally on your device; they are deleted by uninstalling the app or clearing its data from your system settings.
